Getting Started
Install Ringleader on macOS or Windows, complete onboarding, and bring up your first workstation.
Ringleader is in private beta. The Ringleader app runs on macOS and Windows,
and the rl command line also ships for Linux (x86-64 and arm64) from the same
Downloads page. Once you have access, getting to a working, persistent
development environment takes three steps:
- Install: on macOS, a
.pkgthat installs the Ringleader app and the bundledrlCLI; on Windows, an.msithat installs the same app and CLI. - Onboarding (first-run setup): sign in, create the local
container runtime, wire up
ssh, and boot your first workstation. - Configuration: go beyond the defaults with declarative
WorkstationandWorkstationConfigmanifests (a browser IDE, devtools, ports, and more).
Each page builds on the previous one. If you have never used Ringleader before, read them in order.
